This will be my third year at York Elementary School and my sixth year teaching fourth grade. I absolutely love teaching fourth grade! My desire is for my students to become life-long learners who are not only aware of their academics, but of the world around them. I encourage them to become better global citizens, and hope this will continue throughout their life. In our classroom, we will explore all subjects with passion and curiosity. I am originally from Wilmington, NC and loved growing up with the sand beneath my toes. I have a love for animals as I have 3 dogs and 3 cats. My three dogs; Kodiak, Haley, and Calypso, are my babies! In my spare time I enjoy photography, art, painting, music, swimming, and of course the beach. I am also happy to say I just celebrated my two year wedding anniversary with my high school sweetheart!
I have set up this wiki to be a tool and collaboration between myself, students, and parents. Please check the site regularly for updates and newsletters. Students will be posting information they are studying in class and we urge you to check out what they are doing. Students may also find information for assignments and homework.
